Services Restaurants
Illustrative concept
A clearer way to handle table requests.
A concept, not a finished product: how guests could ask for another round or the bill from the table, and how staff could see the request and acknowledge it.
The concept opens on demo.visioneeringmt.com. It uses a 3D walkthrough, which may not run on every device.
What the concept shows
A guest asks
From the table, a guest requests another round or the bill.
Staff see it
The request appears for staff with the table it came from.
Staff acknowledge
Someone takes it, so the guest knows it’s being handled.
Service is done
The request is closed once it has been served.
What it might help with
These are ideas to test with a restaurant, not proven results.
- Fewer guests waiting to catch someone’s eye
- Staff seeing which table needs what, at a glance
- Busy periods with less walking back and forth to check
What needs working out first
- How requests would reach staff reliably during service
- Table numbering, the devices staff would use and Wi-Fi coverage
- Who answers which requests, and what guests should see
Not included
Payments, POS integration, reservations and kitchen routing are not part of the concept.
